STAGE 1 – Marketing Materials & Information

Once an exclusive or non-exclusive relationship has been established between Pacific M&A and Business Brokers and the franchisor, and a fee agreement has been executed by the parties outlining the terms and conditions of the relationship between Pacific and the franchisor, the scope of Pacific’s work includes, but not limited to:

  • Collecting data and information from you that is required to market the franchise or license opportunity;
  • Using franchisor-provided marketing materials as well as where applicable, the development of target specific materials or teasers.

The Teaser is a simple low-information marketing piece that highlights the opportunity being presented.

In addition to the standard marketing materials, the data Pacific requires in order to properly present your opportunity to their database of buyers includes, but is not necessarily limited to:

  • In-depth Description of the Business and Concept
  • Industry
  • Investment Level
  • Initial Franchise & Ongoing Royalty Fees

All of this information helps identify and engage qualified targets, which are then exposed to the opportunity.

STAGE 2 – Marketing

Pacific pro-actively and confidentially exposes the opportunity to a large group of pre-screened buyer targets within British Columbia and other geographical areas as applicable to explore potential interest.

All interested prospective franchisees will need to agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and disclose financial capacity in the required range of the franchise opportunity.

STAGE 3 – Client Introduction

Any interested party that has been exposed to the opportunity, remains interested in further pursuing the opportunity, and after participating in initial conversations relative to financial capacity requirements desired and other requirements of the franchisor, will be introduced to the franchisor for consideration and qualification. Such introductions will be registered with you to secure the commission fee.

STAGE 4 – Post Introduction

Post introduction of the potential franchisee to the franchisor, Pacific will continue to coordinate and facilitate between the franchisee and franchisor as necessary to assist both the franchisor and potential franchisee in their respective pursuit of the business relationship.
