A native of China, Jacqueline Xiaochun Diao arrived in Vancouver in 2015, and immediately became involved in the dynamic Chinese-Canadian business world especially in innovation collaboration and tech start-ups in data science.
Jacqueline brings an incredible combination of technology management, cross-culture communication, and entrepreneurial spirit to the Pacific M&A and Business Brokers Ltd. team. With over 10 years of experience in executive positions managing complex enterprise-level projects such as ERP, CRM, e-commerce, data warehouse, and shared service centre, together with her entrepreneurship in the latest IoT and data technology industries, Jacqueline has successfully managed and navigated a project investment portfolio over $100 million. Her experiences and connections with Chinese venture capitals, global private equity groups, and the Canadian tech community allow her to comfortably facilitate various business transactions from Main Street businesses to $5 million+ M&A transactions.
Her mission as a professional Business Broker and M&A Advisor is to take one’s business to the next level, either through interpreting the true value of one’s business, identifying growth opportunities, or successfully completing business transactions. She shared in Pacific’s values, culture, and principles, dedicated to establishing fiduciary relationships with her clients and customers.
In addition, Jacqueline has a strong entrepreneurial drive which leads her to successfully launch her own global realtor online promotion business in a niche Chinese marketplace. She also conducts case studies across environment, IT, logistics, automobile, real estate, and digital marketing industries in North America and Asia. With a passion to leverage her expertise to help small to medium enterprise owners, she writes about the latest BC business trends in WeChat blog posts.
Jacqueline holds a PhD in business from China, a visiting scholar at the University of Waterloo and University of Stony Brook, and is currently in the process of obtaining accreditation as a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) as administered by the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA).
In Jacqueline’s spare time, she enjoys supporting her cycling club for culture connection and social equality, she is also passionate about skiing, new media, and cooking. She is a believer in a life of simplicity.
