Max is our in-house financial analyst, and will be working closely with your chosen business broker in order to determine a fair, reasonable, and grounded valuation for that business that you are buying or selling. An innovative thinker with a strong background in financial theory, Max is constantly working to ensure that Pacific’s valuations are at the forefront of industry best practice and a defensible interpretation of value.
In his tenure at Pacific, he has been involved in over one hundred business valuations representing greater than $100 million in value. He has previous experience performing full cycle accounting for a multi-family construction and real estate development firm, where he oversaw corporate development of accounting systems and procedures as the firm quickly grew from managing one to seven construction projects.
Max holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University in Calgary with a coursework focus in Economics. He passed all three levels of the demanding CFA examinations on his first attempt and at the fastest rate possible after graduation. His professional interests include business valuation, statistical analysis of financial data, and corporate governance.
Outside of the office, Max enjoys multi-day backpacking trips, weightlifting, and tennis.
