Ruslan Yarullin is a seasoned professional with over 15 years of experience in the financial and investment sectors, working in both the international and Canadian markets. His broad level of experience and depth of knowledge in financial analysis and business valuations creates an extensive value to Pacific M&A and Business Brokers Ltd. Prior to joining Pacific, Ruslan worked in senior finance positions for the banking industry, sovereign wealth fund, and real estate fund in Kazakhstan, and with the Pinnacle Wealth Brokers and the Government of Canada. He has a comprehensive range of expertise, encompassing financial analysis and modeling, investment management and research, private equity and venture capital, commercial and investment banking, and business valuations and corporate finance. Recently, Ruslan decided to focus more on business valuations as he enjoys this the most.
Ruslan is a CFA Charterholder, earned his Bachelor of Finance degree in Kazakhstan and also completed a post-bachelor diploma program in North American Business Management from Capilano University in Canada. Ruslan believes that continuing education is a key component for success. His expertise, continuing education, knowledge, and professionalism are all key contributing assets to the business valuations he conducts at Pacific. This approach, along with Ruslan’s commitment to solid business ethics and integrity, has been the foundation of his success.
Ruslan lives in Vancouver and is a member of the CFA Society. He is a world-level powerlifter and has been a six-time champion of the Republican Championships in Kazakhstan and a winner of the Oceanian and Asian Championship in 2014 in Melbourne, Australia. He also has been a participant of the World Powerlifting Championships under IPF in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2016. Aside from his passion for powerlifting, Ruslan also enjoys traveling, biking, and hiking. Ruslan is a regular supporter of various charitable events and organizations, and he is looking forward to further expanding his network in British Columbia.
